Fassa Bortolo also stands out as an active promoter of sport. In this way the company spreads sporting values and increases the visibility of its brand nationally and internationally. We have a successful history in professional cycling from 2000 to 2005 and, from 2009 to 2020, we participated in major international motorsport championships, such as the Gran Turismo. We still support local amateur associations, embracing different sports disciplines.

Motor racing championships
Fassa Bortolo always on track
From 2009 to 2020, Fassa Bortolo played a leading role in the major international motor racing championships. We were the main sponsor of the Italian Gran Turismo Championship, a prestigious series organised by the Automobile Club d’Italia that brings together the most fascinating sports cars.
After years of success with the Lamborghini Huracán GT3, which led to victory in the GT Open International Championship in 2016, we took to the track with the SMP Racing #72 Ferrari.
Fassa Bortolo thus continues to have a steady presence in the world of motorsport, supporting high-level events that reflect our values of excellence, performance and innovation.
Cycling
Six years of sprints with Fassa Bortolo
Since 2000 we have been a major player in professional cycling, forming a highly competitive team. In just six years, the Silver Team of the Sports Group conquered the world cycling scene, dominating the UCI – International Cycling Union.
The victories were numerous, including Giro d’Italia, Tour de France, Vuelta a España and World Championships. A success that was also the result of the local ties and personal respect between Fassa Bortolo and Pinarello, a manufacturer of premium bicycles from Treviso.
The six years spent in cycling represent an unforgettable chapter in the history of Fassa Bortolo.
Arena MRV
Italian excellence right in the heart of Brazil
In 2021 Fassa Bortolo entered the Brazilian market, soon becoming a leading player in the building industry thanks to the quality of its products. Its excellence was immediately recognised thanks to the construction of the MRV Arena in Belo Horizonte, the new stadium of the Clube Atlético Mineiro. As the exclusive supplier of mortars and grouts, Fassa Bortolo contributed to the largest private construction project in the State at the time, sparking strong public and media interest. Over a period of two years, the company supplied almost 3,000 tonnes of materials, even developing a special mortar to meet specific technical requirements. The work was also streamlined by installing six silos in an area of over 120,000 square metres. Inaugurated in 2023, the Arena MRV, with a capacity of 46,000 seats, is today the most modern stadium in Brazil, an architectural symbol of the city and a testament to the construction quality guaranteed by the Fassa Bortolo system.
