EPD ENVIRONMENTAL DECLARATIONS
Information on the environmental impact of fassaColour® products (from the extraction of materials through to the manufactured product, from its use phase to the end of its life cycle) is communicated in a credible, transparent and comparable way in the form of an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), which also helps professionals to analyse the life cycle of the entire building.
This is because the EPD is a document that objectively communicates the environmental impacts of a product, based on a standardised and internationally recognised method known as Life Cycle Assessment (LCA).
MINIMUM ENVIRONMENTAL CRITERIA (CAM)
Italy’s minimum environmental criteria (CAM) are the requirements to be met for public works in order to finalise procurement, supply, design and service contracts. They have been devised with the aim of encouraging the spread of products and solutions that have the lowest possible impact on the environment.
Furthermore, the CAM concept is increasingly being extended to private constructions, with the aim of disseminating an approach to building with a low environmental impact.
