The EPD, or Environmental Product Declaration, is a document summarising the environmental impact of a product.  Through the LCA (or Life Cycle Assessment) methodology, this document is able to provide a well-rounded view of how the product in question may affect a wide range of environmental aspects, thus enabling a better understanding of the sustainability and environmental impact characteristics of the product under consideration.

Recycled/recovered material/by-product content certifications

Italy’s minimum environmental criteria (CAM) are the requirements to be met for public works in order to finalise procurement, supply, design and service contracts. They have been devised with the aim of encouraging the spread of products and solutions that have the lowest possible impact on the environment. Furthermore, the CAM concept is increasingly being extended to private constructions, with the aim of disseminating an approach to building with a low environmental impact.
