Waterproofing eco-membrane for application under tiles in interiors
Use
AQUAZIP ECO-LAMINA 2D is a waterproofing membrane to be used underneath ceramic tile, natural stone and mosaic floors and coverings in interiors without vehicle traffic, even with radiant heating systems. Suitable for rooms exposed to contact with water and steam, both intermittently (such as bathrooms or showers) and continuously (such as saunas or steam baths), to prevent the risk of humidity infiltrating to adjacent rooms and the formation of stains and mould. Thanks to its high Sd value, AQUAZIP ECO-LAMINA 2D represents an effective water vapour barrier.
On the following substrates:
cement or calcium sulphate floor screeds, even with radiant heating systems
cured concrete (at least 6 months)
cement or gypsum plasters
plasterboard
old tile, marble or natural stone coverings, provided they are well bonded
gypsum fibre board, after applying PRIMER DG74, or fibre cement boards that are well anchored to the substrate.
For application of ceramic or stone coverings onAQUAZIP ECO-LAMINA 2D, use a high-performance cement or reactive adhesive (see the Technical Data table).
