High tenacity polymer fibres for reinforcing floor screeds
Use
FIBER MST 20 is used to increase the toughness and ductility of floor screeds. Adding FIBER MST 20 also helps to reduce significantly any cracks due to plastic shrinkage and to maintain residual strength after any initial fissuring. In suitable doses, FIBER MST 20 represents a good alternative to using metal mesh as reinforcement.
In addition, using this product reduces problems relating to corrosion, as it has strong resistance to the alkalis produced by hydration of cement mixes, and is therefore immune to corrosive phenomena.
