The Winery at Podernuovo is located near San Casciano dei Bagni, in the outskirts of Siena, in Tuscany. It overlooks a vineyard named after the agricultural estate it belongs to. The vineyard, has been designed to contain spaces accessible to the public, spaces of production, and offices endeavors to reduce as much as possible its impact on the environment.

This residential and commercial project is located in the upper part of Giulianova, in Via Antonio Gramsci, at the intersection with Via Cesare Battisti.
A podium level (commercial, residential services, roof gardens) is surmounted by an east-facing volume that looks toward the sea; the simple geometry bends and warps on the south side to capture the landscape of the adjacent park.
The project called for the transformation of an existing warehouse into a five-storey office building with a single retail store on the ground floor. Both the bearing concrete structure and the building envelope were totally re-structured to address sustainability issues and building regulations for the new use. The design cuts a void through the existing building to allow for natural daylight to penetrate its core and create space for a second staircase.
